Millhouses—Steamline Sheffield’s Home

Steamline Sheffield has a 5-year project to create an accurate, scale model of the station and associated trackwork of Millhouses, then to operate it with prototypical locomotives and trains to the original timetable.

The layout is over 90ft long and is based on the four track main line (with sidings) that make up the Midland Main Line to London St. Pancras and the Hope Valley Line to Manchester.

Along with all the trackwork, trains and locomotives, Steamline Sheffield hopes to faithfully recreate the lineside features, station buildings, bridges, factories, signal boxes and (of course) the Millhouses Engine Shed itself, 41C!
